The Genera Summit is an annual event that brings together a community passionate about
technology and innovation.
For three days, from August 28 to 30, at the Ágora Convention Center, under the umbrella of
Go Fest, attendees immersed themselves in the latest technological trends
and had the opportunity to connect with leaders who are transforming the world.
This year, the star of the event was Era, the digital human created by Dip Dig by
Outsourcing.
As host of the event, Era offered a unique experience and demonstrated the transformative potential that digital humans can bring to different sectors. The event featured the participation of prominent international speakers such as Aaron Frank, an expert in spatial computing from Singularity University; Catalina Lopez-Correa, Chief Scientific Officer of Genome Canada and an expert in biotechnology; and Daniel Gómez Iñiguez, a serial entrepreneur recognized by MIT and Forbes among those under 35 years old.
Some of the main DeepTech startups identified in the first report of the year in Colombia were also presented, including Dreembio, which develops drugs against cancer from Colombian biodiversity; Towers Cem, creator of a cement with nano-materials to capture CO2; and Astrolab Biotecnologia SAS, which will launch a microbiome test to the market to improve health.
The event also featured the representation of pioneering Latin American organizations in DeepTech, such as the Buenos Aires Innovation Park, The Ganesha Lab, Know Hub Chile, BID Lab and Eatable Adventures.
One of the highlights of the Genera Summit was the open innovation panel, which took place on August 29 at 11:00 a.m. Here, our CEO John Santafe Correa spoke about the challenges of innovation in the technological ecosystem, highlighting the importance of looking beyond borders and talked about the relevance of people and current infrastructure, as well as current policies, which directly influence the creation of a favorable environment for technology and entrepreneurship, and how companies such as Outsourcing always carry innovation as their flag, revolutionizing digital transformation projects.
The event made it clear that we are at a crucial point in technological evolution, and with ERA as host it was demonstrated that digital humans are changing the way we interact with technology and redefining the future of organizations.
