School of Leaders: tools, self-management, and workplace well-being.

During a four-hour event held at the Campus and Optimus headquarters on June 5, 6, 12, and 13, 102 of the organization’s employees (63 from the private sector and 39 from the public sector) participated in the Leadership School, an experience designed to strengthen self-management, efficiency, and the strategic use of digital tools. More than a talk, it was a practical and necessary space to review how we use our time and how consciously we are managing it. All with a very practical and grounded approach, designed to be applied immediately in our daily lives.

The session focused on the applied use of Microsoft 365: Outlook to organize the workday and automate responses; Teams to improve team communication; Lists to support creating and maintaining healthy habits; and Power Automate to reduce repetitive tasks and curb procrastination. In addition to the technical component, there were also opportunities for reflection on the impact of these practices on mental health, stress, and the way we relate to our work environment.

These types of initiatives shouldn’t be seen as something “additional” to work, but rather as part of a larger effort: building teams with critical thinking, capable of organizing themselves, recognizing which practices no longer work, and seeking more sustainable solutions. The School of Leaders not only provided tools, it also left a clear message: leadership doesn’t always mean managing others; sometimes, all it takes is starting with organizing our own day, and that is a type of leadership worth promoting.
